On Wednesday Room 4 competed in our Year 5 and 6 Crowley Cup competition. Our teams played netball, hockey, and rugby. It was a very frosty start to the day. All teams showed great sportsmanship during their games. Congratulations to our netball team for coming second in their competition. Thank you to all families who hepled to transport and coach us on the day.

On Thursday Room 1, 2, 3 and 4 went to the Stratford Library and Fire Station. We made Puanga stars with popsicle sticks and string which will glow in the dark when it is on display at the War Memorial Hall. At the fire station, we learnt about smoke alarms, how to keep plugs and kitchens safe, safe meeting places and how to get down, get low and get out fast. Thank you to the library and fire station for having us.
